Sisters and Brothers:
The CWA/Retired Members’ Council (CWA/RMC) is but one of the allies in a coalition to preserve, strengthen and expand Medicare, including Medicaid, to the benefit of all Americans. Our battles will be many as the war on repealing and gutting the provisions of the Affordable Healthcare Care Act goes into high gear.
In conjunction with the Alliance for Retired Americans of the AFL-CIO, the CWA/RMC are in line with and talking with all our RMC chapters and membership about how we can take action to protect what retirees are entitled to, and American Workers will be entitled to, because we have paid our way to earn our Medicare benefits
Three webinars have been scheduled for any activists interested in or preparing to conduct Medicare lobbying and/or who would like participate in future events. These webinars are especially worth the time for activists who have paid into Medicare, are expecting to use it and would like to tell their story. Please RSVP and SHARE with other activists.
