Chicago Labor Day Parade and Eddie Fest

You are invited to join CWA Local 4250 this Saturday for this event. The Chicago Labor Day Parade and Eddie Fest is just around the corner on Sat. Aug. 31,12 noon - 4pm! See below for details and please let me know if you plan to attend.
DETAILS:
The parade begins at 12 noon at 107th and S. Cottage Grove Avenue. The parade route takes Cottage Grove south to 112th St. then turns around and ends on S. St. Lawrence Ave. and 111th St.

We will have a CWA banner and march along with many other unions.
The Eddie Fest will take place following the parade at Pullman and Arcade parks. The Fest will feature live music, kids’ entertainment, food vendors and other activities and will last until roughly 4pm.

Parking:
Free parking will be available at the House of Hope Church, 752 E 114th St. A shuttle bus will run every 10 minutes between 9am and 12 noon from the House of Hope to the parade staging area.
