Diabetes kills more Americans each year than breast cancer and AIDS combined. In the next 24 hours, over 130 people will develop kidney failure because of diabetes. That’s nearly 50,000 friends, neighbors, co-workers or family members every year. The women's committee designated June as Diabetes month. In the next few weeks I will be mailing out pamphlets to our members on information about this disease.
