Labor Day 2014 Celebration Pullman Historic Site
Every day, workers labor and sacrifice to achieve their part of the American Dream. On Labor Day 2014 the Nation will honor and celebrate working women and men for their achievements to make the United States the greatest economic engine in history. However, to us in the Illinois Labor it is more than a day off. It is a day to celebrate and work toward making our economy work for all people not just those at the top of the economic pyramid. This Labor Day we are determined to counteract widening income inequality and diminishing economic opportunity for ourselves and our children.
Please join your Union Brothers and Sisters at a Labor Day event near you. And please remember to vote on November 4th.
Happy Labor Day
