CWA: SOME PROGRESS IN AT&T CONTRACT TALKS, NO EXTENSION PAST NOON TODAY

Legacy T Bargaining Update  ~  April 14, 2015; 1:25pm

The Contract has expired. We are continuing to bargain without a Contract.  There can be no business as usual.   While we are still negotiating, we are very angry with the lack of movement at the table. However, we’re committed to keeping our members earning a pay check and keeping the company off balance while we continue to fight at the table and you continue to fight on the job.

Your Bargaining Team

AT&T MIDWEST BARGAINING REPORT - 4/14/15  10:30AM CST

With positive movement taking place at the table, the Midwest Bargaining team has made the decision not to extend the 2012 AT&T Midwest CBA but continue working and bargaining without a contract.  The Company will need to prove to the bargaining team that productive talks will continue on the path towards a fair agreement.

Your actions have shifted the power to the committee and we have taken control of the clock.

Members should continue to work, work safely, and keep in contact with your mobilization coordinators!

Stay Mobilized!  This fight is not just about our contract…it’s about RESPECT IN PEOPLE !

Again, the Midwest Bargaining Team appreciates all of your support!  Keep up the great work!

Updates to follow.

In Solidarity,
The Bargaining Team

OUR CONTRACT HAS EXPIRED

How will it work?
You will continue to work. You will still earn a paycheck. The company cannot change your wages or working conditions. All benefits, including health care, will remain in effect. The grievance procedure continues, but arbitration probably will not. You have the legal right to participate in “concerted activity.” You can mobilize on the job, wear buttons and stickers, leaflet and do informational picketing.

We will not simply be working as usual. Mobilization is more important than ever. Our strength in bargaining comes from a strong and visible mobilization. Make sure the company knows that we stand together behind our bargaining team. Wear red. Display signs on your cubicles, lockers, and bulletin boards. Do workplace actions, informational picketing, and rallying. Your power is what will move AT&T management at the table.
