CWA AT$T Legacy T and CWA AT$T Midwest Members Have Been Working Without A Contract For 6 MONTHS

October 17, 2018

The attached PDF files are bargaining updates (10/15/2018) from CWA Telecommunications & Technologies Vice President, Lisa Bolton (AT$T Legacy T)  and CWA District 4 Vice President Linda Hinton (AT$T Midwest) .

Below are quotes from their letters.

“We need to maintain the value of our Health and Pension benefits. We are not willing to concede to the Company and accept what they are offering. We need to continue to fight back the regressive proposals the Company has passed across the table and continue to apply pressure in the workplace, socially, legislatively and in our communities.”

Lisa Bolton, CWA T&T Vice President

“CWA will continue to apply pressure to the Company and take our demands to the highest levels of their leadership. The Company has been given a crystal clear message which is: the CBA we seek must address employment security first and foremost, both through the protections of our current language and the availability of work today and into the future. Secondly, the CBA must provide benefits and provisions our members deserve and should be expected from a Company whose profits are among the highest in the industry and certainly possess the resources to do so.”

Linda Hinton, CWA District 4 Vice President

Please read their letters and share them with all CWA Retirees. Call your CWA Local Retired Members’ Chapter and ask how you can volunteer to help apply pressure on AT$T socially, legislatively and in your community to help our sisters and brothers working for AT$T Legacy T and AT$T Midwest. Retirees are the backbone of CWA.
